Based on the Solunar Theory (John Alden Knight): fish and wildlife tend to feed more during the periods when the moon is overhead or underfoot (major) and at moonrise/moonset (minor). The score considers the lunar phase and the crossing of major periods with the local high tide.

📘 About Erikub Atoll Tide Forecast

Situated along the coastline of Marshall Islands (9.20° N, 169.92° E), Erikub Atoll lies in the northern hemisphere. Its tidal pattern is semi-diurnal (two high and two low tides per day), with a mean tidal range of 1.1m and spring tides reaching up to 1.5m. Erikub is an uninhabited atoll administered by the people of Wotje, with only 1.53 km² of land around a 230 km² lagoon. Oyster and shellfish farmers exploit the 0.5–1.5m range to alternate aerial exposure and submersion in their culture beds. Two daily tidal cycles create two current peaks per day, valued by anglers who leverage stronger flow during tidal changes. Its geographic position creates unique interactions between oceanic swell and local tidal currents. Track tidal behavior at Erikub Atoll throughout 2026 using our comprehensive table with daily high and low water timestamps. In September, Erikub Atoll is in its autumn season, a key period for water sports, fishing, diving, and coastal navigation. Predictive output is continuously benchmarked against time series recorded by regional coastal reference stations.
